EPU-NTUA was represented by Spiros Mouzakitis and Christos Ntanos, together with many EPU-NTUA researchers, showcasing four ongoing projects through on-site banners and discussions with participants.

EPU-NTUA participated in the "AI Enables Cybersecurity" Meet Up on 14 January 2026, hosted at OTE Headquarters in Athens, Greece. The event was organised by COSMOTE Telekom in the context of the Vigilance and CyberAid kickoff meetings and brought together stakeholders with a particular interest in data protection and data spaces.

D-NAVIO ("Digital Ship") is a Horizon Europe research and innovation project that develops an Intelligent Digital Twin: a next-generation "digital clone of ships" that combines explainable AI, self-healing technologies and advanced risk models to forecast and prevent failures on large, complex vessels such as cruise ships and container carriers. By integrating cyber and physical risk into a unified framework, the project aims to make maritime transport safer, smarter and more sustainable across the entire vessel lifecycle.
