EPU-NTUA showcased iTrust6G at the "AI Enables Cybersecurity" Meet Up (Athens, 14 January 2026)
EPU-NTUA participated in the "AI Enables Cybersecurity" Meet Up on 14 January 2026, hosted at OTE Headquarters in Athens, Greece. The event was organised by COSMOTE Telekom in the context of the Vigilance and CyberAid kickoff meetings and brought together stakeholders with a particular interest in data protection and data spaces.
EPU-NTUA was represented by Christos Ntanos and Michael Kontoulis, who showcased the iTrust6G project through an on-site banner and exchanged views with participants on trust and security challenges for next-generation networked infrastructures. The laboratory also used the opportunity to present related work from a second project being showcased at the event.
iTrust6G (Intelligent Trust and Security Orchestration for 6G Distributed Cloud Environments) is a Horizon Europe SNS JU Research and Innovation Action (Grant Agreement 101139198) coordinated by GigaSys Solutions, focusing on a zero-trust-based architecture to improve the trustworthiness of 6G networks, leveraging AI/ML for threat handling, asset compliance, explainable security policies and observability.
