The purpose of the project is the scientific support of the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) in order to establish the standards and specifications of interoperability and to specialize the specific tasks for the optimal use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) during the period 2007 -2013 by the MoT and the tourism institutions that the Ministry oversees. This would result in the development of a single integrated ICT strategic plan.
The identified tasks would conform to the specific objectives of the Operational Programme “Digital Convergence” for the Information Society in improving the workforce productivity and the quality of life of the citizens through the use of ICT.
