Results oriented Monitoring for Centrally managed Thematic Programs

The overall project objective is to provide high quality information on project and programme through monitoring of the performance and results of Centrally Managed Thematic Projects (CMTP) on the basis of the Result Oriented Monitoring (ROM) methodology
Expected Results:

1. The ROM system is set up and operated for the monitoring of EU-funded projects within its external cooperation with third countries in the CMT areas.
2. Clear, objective, well targeted, consistent, user friendly information on projects/programmes implementation and recommendations for improvement is provided through Monitoring Reports (MRs), Background Conclusions Sheets (BCSs) and Project Synospses (PSs) in defined formats, within the set deadlines and meeting quality standards.
3. Analyses/syntheses of ROM information and results at programmes, regions, themes etc. levels, delivered through Special Reports on request of the EC Services.
4. The ROM results are disseminated through seminars/workshops and the effective/ efficient use of the ROM outputs is enhanced through hands-on assistance to their recipients and to any other relevant stakeholder on request/ approval of the ROM Management Unit.
5. The competent EC Services are supported for the further development of the ROM system and/or of specific methodologies/ tools for improving the ROM effectiveness.
