The overall project objective is the promotion of the EU Specific strategic themes and related instruments, through the implementation of appropriate EC programmes/ projects with sustainable impacts/ results. The contract purpose is summarised as follows: a) provision (through MRs/BCSs) of clear, objective, well-targeted, consistent, user friendly information on project implementation and recommendations for improvements; b) provision (through Special Reports) of information (statistics, customized analyses) on: best practices, common mistakes and recommendations; performance of the EC project portfolio; crosscutting issues (as in the European Consensus); other if/as required; c) dissemination of ROM results through seminars; enhancement of effective use of ROM outputs through hands-on assistance to their recipients and, by approval of EC, to other stakeholders); d) provision of support to the competent EC Services for further development of the ROM and/or of specific methodologies/ tools for improving the effectiveness of the ROM system.
