Project summary:

SKILLSBOOST SEE helps Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Greece put their 2030 BUILD UP Skills National Roadmaps into practice. It strengthens the National Qualification Platforms as permanent coordination bodies and co-designs and pilots new training and certification schemes. It also aims to train 4,000 construction professionals for the clean energy transition.

Brief Description:

Completed BUILD UP Skills projects in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Greece produced updated 2030 National Roadmaps and relaunched National Qualification Platforms (NQPs). Large gaps remain in scaling up training, securing funding and raising the yearly training rate of professionals. SKILLSBOOST SEE moves from planning to action by building the roadmaps into national institutional, financial and training systems.

The project will: *strengthen the NQPs as permanent coordination bodies; *hold 88 technical working group meetings; *implement 16 priority roadmap measures; *co-design and pilot new training and certification schemes; *run awareness campaigns and roadshows to make the sector more attractive. It also aims to train 4,000 professionals and to reach SMEs, women and young people. EPU-NTUA leads the Thematic Working Groups and the formalisation of stakeholder cooperation (T2.3 and T2.4) in Greece, and contributes to co-designing training schemes and to career-orientation activities.
