Development of a System of Continuing Education at Workplace

The project‘s overall objective is the development of a System of Continuing Vocational Training as part of lifelong learning recognized and used by enterprises and policy makers. 
The project aims at developing comprehensive and sustainable policy and strategy on Continuing Vocational Training in Ukraine in order to address the skills shortages and lack of qualified workforce in enterprises through updating and modernizing regulatory framework regarding CVT, implementing pilot projects in the regions, creating national and regional capacity to provide information and methodological support for a variety of clientele. These pilot projects will be implemented as cooperation schemes between various types of enterprises and training providers. They will serve as evidence, which will be a basis for further elaboration and modification of national policy and strategy. 
More specifically, the project aims to: 
a) modernise and adopt at the national level a CVT policy and regulatory framework to stimulate in-company training and investments into continuous skills upgrading, 
b) strengthen the capacity of policy makers, training providers and other stakeholders to develop and implement continuing training activities, 
c) establish a national resource centre and three regional centres able to provide information, advice and methodologies on Continuing Vocational Training opportunities for various target groups and 
d) carry out at national and regional levels regular CVT needs analyses enabling all stakeholders to take informed and timely decisions.
