In an article titled "World Brain Day 2025: Protecting brain health through EU-funded projects" HaDEA noted the number of people impacted by neurological and/or mental disorders in Europe, to showcase the importance and relevance of projects like MES-CoBraD. Then the subject matter and accomplishments achieved by the MES-CoBraD project were outlined, followed by a mention to the upcoming EXPOSIGNALZ project.
For over three years, experts from medicine, engineering, computer science, social science, and law have collaborated, comprising the MES-CoBraD project consortium, to develop a platform designed to advance the treatment and diagnosis of complex brain disorders. EPU-NTUA was the proud coordinator of the project. By securely integrating real-world data with artificial intelligence and precision-focused expert systems, the aim of the MES-CoBraD project was to improve the quality of life for patients, caregivers, and society as a whole.
