Integrated assessment modelling, climate policy
Ms. Natasha Frilingou is a Researcher at the Energy Policy Unit of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She holds a M.Eng. in chemical engineering and an MSc in computational mechanics, both from the School of Chemical Engineering, NTUA. She is also a PhD student in climate change policy support through integrative approaches, based on climate-economy modelling and stakeholder engagement, and focusing on issues of crises, equity, and justice, at the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, NTUA.
Natasha has experience in using integrated assessment models (IAMs), and other decision support tools (e.g., fuzzy cognitive mapping) to support the assessment of climate change mitigation policies and progress. She also combines these tools with stakeholder engagement to improve their relevance and desirability.
She has worked on and managed European projects in the fields of climate policy, and has 8 scientific publications in high-impact journals and 4 announcements in national and international conferences. Finally, Natasha is the Project Manager of the Horizon Europe research and innovation project IAM COMPACT, works on DIAMOND as Senior Researcher, and has previously worked on PARIS REINFORCE.
