The DigiPrime KPIs’ framework for a circular economy transition in the automotive industry
The DSSLab NTUA, representing the DigiPrime project, which participated in the DET 2021 “10th International Conference on Digital Enterprise Technology” presenting a paper entitled “The DigiPrime KPIs’ framework for a circular economy transition in the automotive industry”.
The aim of the paper was to gather and formalise all the different KPIs that actors across the automotive industry value chain need to monitor to follow circular economy practices.
The framework builds on the EC’s Monitoring Framework, customising the proposed indicators to the needs of the automotive industry building on the feedback provided by the pilots of the DigiPrime project that include Batteries, Textiles, Mechatronics – Electronics, and Techno-polymers.
The framework is a first attempt of formalising KPIs across different actors in the same value chain and it can be easily customisable to fit the needs of other industries as well.
This work can be complemented by incorporating the KPIs to the DigiPrime platform services.
