Development of Sustainable Energy Action Plans in the Municipalities of Shfar’am, Rosh Haayin and Ramla

The specific objective of the project is the scientific support of the Municipalities of Shfar’am, Rosh Haayin and Ramla in Israel within the framework of sustainable development and the obligations that derive from their participation in the Covenant of Mayors. The project will be implemented in accordance with the provided procedures and adopted JRC guidelines for the South municipalities. More specifically, the scientific support of the above Municipalities will include the following activities:

• Development and submission of the 3 Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs);
• Identification of 15 promising Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and Rational Use of Energy (RUE) projects (5 per municipality) and development of their project fiches (pre-feasibility studies);

Development of the 3 Citizens Awareness Promotion Plans.
