The project aims, on the one hand, to prove the business case for “fair and equal” data sharing for cooperative connected and automated mobility and on the other hand promote and stimulate strategic investments in high-impact healthcare related projects. Thus, it focuses on the design and development of two technological solutions that will facilitate and promote fair, equal and efficient data sharing to all interested market participants regarding both in-vehicle data and diabetes related data.
The specific objectives of the project are:
• Design and implement a pilot project to prove the concept of a possible solution that can help improving fair and undistorted competition, notably equal access for all market participants to in-vehicle data through the use of shared data platforms.
• Design and implement a pilot project to build a pan-European, high-quality, diabetes related data repository.
• Inform relevant policy actions in the area of skills, such as the blueprint for sectoral cooperation on skills for the automotive sector.
• Carry out a market analysis of the state of play of European B2B platforms and unified European diabetes-related data sets.
• Identify potential market deficiencies and regulatory barriers and try measures to support SMEs in participating in the markets of study under fair conditions for both the automotive and the medical sector.
• Draft sector specific recommendations to the EU and national policy makers and develop an action plan for all stakeholders to overcome existing barriers and ensure fair competition in the market for both automotive and medical data sector.
• Organise four multi-stakeholders’ workshops bringing together the stakeholders’ community as well as a one-day conference to present the final outcomes for both the cases of automotive and diabetes related data.
• Develop and implement a communication and dissemination plan for the whole duration of the contract
