Researchers from PARIS REINFORCE participated in the C-Track 50 EU roundtable which took place on the 17th of September 2019 in Athens, Greece.
The EU roundtable's objective was to give the opportunity to national authorities and experts from the eleven C-Track 50 countries to exchange their experiences in their path to successful action plans. It included topics on EU climate and energy policy; data monitoring and sharing; potential decarbonisation scenarios for 2050; and challenges for carbon neutrality and the role of multi-level governance, and was attended by high-level stakeholders (i.e. representatives from the Greek Ministry for Environment and Energy, the Association of Spanish Agencies for Energy Management, the Unit for Sustainable Cohesion Policy for the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Hungary, the Unit at the Department for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Marshal Office of the Wielkopolska Region, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority, the North West Croatia regional energy agency REGEA, regional energy agency of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, etc.).
