The project aimed to develop a web based project management tool to support the EC Tacis (SCR A6) to monitor the implementation of the projects in the Tacis Nuclear Programme.

Tacis Monitoring was defined as a regular reporting mechanism for the preparation and submission of analytical assessments to management and other involved parties, thus enabling focused management decisions to be taken in order to (a) ensure that projects remain on course to reach their objectives, with any adjustments being made with minimal disruption; (b) allow adjustments to be made with minimal disruption.

Implementation of a regular reporting mechanism which provides analytical assessment of the Tacis Programme and individual projects implemented in Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Tadjikistan (until the suspension of Tacis) in all sectors, thus allowing all involved parties to make promptly the necessary adjustments to ensure that the projects remain on course and reach their objectives and to evaluate whether the Tacis Programme achieves its objectives.
