Decision Support on the Promotion of Renewable Energy Sources and Rational Use of Energy in the Framework of the new Environment in the Greek Energy Market

The objective of the project is the development of coherent methodologies and appropriate decision support systems for the promotion of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and Energy Efficiency (EΝEF). The implementation of this project is related to the study and analysis of the subjects of the three decision centres (state, energy companies, consumers) regarding RES and EΝEF, taking into consideration the impact of the energy market’s deregulation and the climate change. The analysis will result in the implementation of the two following PHDs: a) Decision support systems for the promotion of Renewable Energy Sources in the new framework of the Greek energy market, b) Decision support systems for the promotion of Energy Efficiency in the new framework of the Greek energy market. The project’s ultimate goal is the decision support of the three involved decision centres regarding RES and ENEF.
