The project‘s overall objective was to strengthen management quality and efficiency in the partner countries’ companies and to provide comprehensive support to sustainable management development in these countries. In order of priority, the project had the following immediate objectives for the partner countries (PC):
- Individual managers objective: to develop their managerial know-how, competence and personality, to broaden their view as regards management and its scope, to apply and disseminate the learning in their respective companies;
- PC company objective: to strengthen management quality and/or initiate management development processes; to make effective use of training to achieve company goals; to make effective use of the learning from MTP participants;
- Training objective: to support sustainable development of PC management training and development capacity (esp. in Russia and Ukraine); and
- Business development objective: to enhance business links and co-operation between companies in the EU and the PC, and between PC companies and public authorities.
