Studies show that energy audits seldom result in actions. Despite their interest in knowing what to do to make their business more energy efficient, companies often struggle to go from theory to practice, with intervention plans facing strong behavioural and economic barriers. 

Event on the Elimination of Gender Violence in the Higher Education Institutions

The Gender Equality Committee of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in collaboration with the CALIPER – Gender Equality in STEM Research Project of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineers - NTUA, are organizing, on Tuesday the 13th of December 2022, 18.00 – 20.00, an event on the Elimination of Gender Violence in the Higher Education Institutions.

The INEEXS project kicked off on the 21-22 November 2022 in Brussels!

The core concept of the Life project INNEXS is the deployment of integrated energy services across sectors and carriers, and the tokenization of energy saving data in a public blockchain  to facilitate cooperation among market segments and actors.

 

InEExS improves the implementation of EED Art7 and supports Obligated Parties (EED, Art7) to provide integrated service offers that enable energy savings, system efficiency and include non-energy benefits.

Enershare

On November 9-10, the consortium of Enershare project convene in Lisbon for its 2nd project meeting. The main objective of EnerShare is to develop and deploy the first of its kind Common European Energy Data Space Reference Implementation and provide data-driven services to enable a consumer-centric participatory data-driven energy system. Enershare will accelerate the digitalisation of the energy sector, through the upscale of a variety of technological building blocks, including interoperability, trust, data value and governance.

Climate Change, Energy Crisis, and Greece's Net-Zero Transition

Recently, the European Union (EU) revisited its climate ambitions, aiming to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. It is also on the verge of harmonising its roadmap with this ambitious objective, with the first milestone being a -55% emissions reduction by 2030. With its recent Climate Law as a starting point, Greece will soon have to also revisit its national energy and climate plan, in this new European direction.

The final review of the SPHINX project

The final review of the SPHINX project took place in June 2022. The project was coordinated by the Decision Support Systems Laboratory. Starting in January 2019, SPHINX targeted the creation, piloting and evaluation of a Universal Cyber Security Toolkit aiming to enhance the cyber protection of Health IT Ecosystem and ensure the patient data privacy and integrity.
