The 1st Regional Workshop of the ENERGATE project “Energy efficiency, from financing to implementation” will be held on the 28 September 2023 (18:00 Local time) at Círculo de Bellas Artes, in Madrid. The event will be co-organised by ENERGATE Spanish partners COMMUTY and the Urban Land Institute Spain.
The event is divided into 2 sessions. The 1st session aims to present the developments and outcomes so far of the ENERGATE project, as well as go into detail on the platform’s functionalities and use cases based on the initial use cases and ENERGATE Energy Efficiency Marketplace mock-ups.
During the 2nd session invited speakers will present their views and share experience on different topics related to energy efficiency in buildings exchanging also knowledge on the financing and investment part.

Ecometro: They develop technologies and consulting to measure, minimize and compensate buildings’ impact on our health and environment, helping architects, constructors, companies and administrations to decarbonize buildings, create healthy and regenerative environments for people and take care of the planet. During the ENERGATE workshop, a case study of Ecomentro will be discussed about asset transformation, improving energy efficiency in buildings.
Urban Land Institute Spain: Their mission is to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide. During the ENERGATE workshop the C Change initiative will be presented. This programme aims to mobilise the European real estate industry to decarbonise.
Deerns: Deerns is a global engineering firm that specializes in creating sustainable environments in buildings. With a focus on innovative solutions, they aim to design environments that are not only energy-efficient but also ensure the well-being and safety of its occupants. During the ENERGATE workshop, insights from Deerns will be shared, highlighting their expertise in integrating sustainable technologies and strategies in building designs to achieve optimal performance and comfort.
ELIX: For over 20 years, ELIX has been a guiding force for leaders in the real estate market, especially in the Spanish living sector.
