Welcome to the DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS LABORATORY, EPU Unit

and professionals, who couple research and development 
with high level professional services

EPU operates within the Decision Support Systems Laboratory - Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), the oldest, most prestigious and most competitive academic institute in Greece.

It is a multidisciplinary scientific unit which carries out research and development activities providing management and decision support services on a wide range of complex business, societal and technical problems. 

It comprises faculty members, senior experts, PhD and Master holders, PhD candidates and researchers. EPU-NTUA has been established in 1980 and since then, it is growing constantly, expanding its spectrum of activities and its geographical target areas. Today, more than 80 highly qualified researchers and experts are members and close collaborators in EPU-NTUA, ready to offer scientific services.

The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) and the Decision Support Systems Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens (DSS-NTUA) co-organize a Round table discussion within the framework of the post-graduate course “Energy Management and Project Management”, entitled “Decision Support and Management in the Modern Electricity Markets” on Friday, 29 March 2019, 18:00-21:00, in the premises of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Zografou Campus, Room 4.

Latest distinctions  

Thank you letter from Dionyssios Kodellas, ambassador-at-large, president of Special Olympics Hellas

EPU-NTUA volunteered to aid Special Olymics Hellas by building the organisation's website pro bono. In the letter, Mr. Kodellas thanks our laboratory for its invaluable support of the panhellenic Special Olympcs Games "Loutraki 2016". He also thanks the laboratory for providing, apart from the technical upgrade of the organisation, volunteer work for the entirety of the duration of said games. Moreover, Mr. Kodellas extends a special thanks to our own Ilias Papastamatiou, for his contribution to the project, his ethos, his abilities and his personality.


DTGS - Outstanding Research/Best Paper Award

The Decision Support System Laboratory won the Outstanding Research Paper Award for the manuscript titled “Digital Transformation: Is the Public Sector Following the Enterprise 2.0 Paradigm?" in the Digital Transformation & Global Society 2016 Conference (DTGS 2016).
